Privacy
This page explains what happens when you sign up for the America: Unmuted daily briefing on this website. In short: we keep your email address so we can send you the briefing, and nothing else.
What we store
- Your email address (stored in lower case).
- The date and time you signed up.
- A scrambled (one-way hashed) version of your IP address, kept for 24 hours and then deleted. We use it only to stop someone from flooding the form with sign-ups. It is stored separately from your email address, cannot be turned back into your IP address, and is not used to identify or track you.
Why we store it
To send you the daily briefing once it launches, and to keep the sign-up form from being abused. That is all.
What we don't do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your email address.
- We do not share it with advertisers.
- This website has no ads, no analytics and no tracking cookies. It loads no third-party scripts or fonts.
Who can see it
Only the people who run America: Unmuted. Sign-ups are stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which runs this website. If we later use an email service to deliver the briefing, your address will be shared with that service only so it can send the email.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. The hashed IP record used for rate limiting is deleted after 24 hours.
Getting removed
Every briefing email will include an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to delete your email address at any time, even before the briefing starts, by writing to admin@americaunmutedhq.com. We will remove it and confirm.
YouTube
The “Subscribe on YouTube” button takes you to YouTube. What happens there is covered by YouTube's and Google's own privacy policies, not this one.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
