However, critics in Tehran rushed to interpret the midterm election results as a public repudiation of the commander-in-chief, according to Breitbart. The Western Journal observed that the Iranian regime rejoiced over the outcome because it expects anti-Israel and pro-terrorist Democrats to hamstring President Trump in the next Congress.
